Method 1: Grant Full Control to Logged in User

  • Go to C:\\ProgramData.
  • Find the Bluestacks folder.
  • Right click on Bluestacks folder and select Properties.
  • Go to Security tab. Click on Edit button.

  • Select the user through which you are logged in.
  • Now under Permissions section, check the box of Full Control.

  • Click Apply and then OK.
  • Restart Bluestacks on your machine and see if you are able to successfully open it.

Method 2: Install Latest Version of Bluestacks

If method 1 was not able to fix the issue, then upgrade to the latest version of Bluestacks. You need to have latest versions of two applications:

  1. Bluestacks
  2. .Net Framework
